HOUSTON – Brunei Energy, an international firm, has leased 13,667 square feet of office space in west Houston’s Energy Corridor submarket at 9811 Katy Freeway.

Scooter Hicks of MetroNational provided representation for the landlord, Houston-based MetroNational, the developer of the mixed-use Memorial City. Anthony Squillante and Greg Marconi with Stream represented the tenant.

“The building, located in Memorial City, enabled them to operate from a Class A environment with an abundance of amenities nearby and it allowed for their firm to be located close to their clients in the Energy Corridor,” said, Anthony Squillante, Managing Director of Stream.

The Energy Corridor has been a hotbed of new office construction in recent years and rents in the submarket increased 12 percent over the last year.

Brunel provides business services specializing in flexible deployment of professionals in the field of Engineering, IT, Legal, Finance and all disciplines in the Oil & Gas industry. Brunei has  over 13,000 employees in 50 countries.
