HOUSTON –(By Dale King, Realty News Report)– Durham Drive seems to be following in North Shepherd’s footsteps along the retail/residential West 18thStreet corridor.

With that in mind, sibling dentists Adel and Ahmed El-Deeb are setting down high-tech roots in that sought-after mixed-use neighborhood.

Their objective is to create a new dental practice — Tooth Twins– where clients can find the latest in general, cosmetic and implant capabilities in traditional surroundings.

“Our mission for Tooth Twins very much fits the aesthetic of this unique project,” said Dr. Ahmed El-Deeb. “While providing the latest, state-of-the-art technologies and techniques, our goal is to offer a truly personalized service associated with practices of generations past.”

Capital Retail Properties – a firm that helped spur redevelopment for the nearby Market at Houston Heights and Bungalows on 22nd Street – has broken ground on 18th Street Bungalows and a contemporary, 3,000 SF home for the dental business slated to open in May 2020 on a 10,000 SF lot at 802 W. 18th.

Capital Retail Properties partner Anderson Smith, a Heights resident, said, “We’re thrilled to match Adel and Ahmed with this dynamic and vibrant piece of architecture that is sure to become a landmark for the neighborhood and Tooth Twins.”
