HOUSTON – (Realty News Report)– Benjamin Berg of Berg Hospitality Group is revamping the well-known Uptown restaurant, Cafe Annie, through a new partnership with Chef Robert Del Grande.

Cafe Annie has closed during the redevelopment and will reopen this fall The Annie Café & Bar.

“We are delighted to welcome this team to 6 BLVD Place along the updated and prestigious Post Oak Boulevard in the heart of the Galleria area,” said Ed Wulfe, Managing Partner of 6 BLVD Place, 1800 Post Oak Blvd., just a few blocks north of the Galleria.

Berg plans to remodel the 11,000 SF restaurant space to feature new interiors, lighting and furnishings, and extend the bar area to capture the inviting ambiance of the second-floor patio. The menu and presentation will build upon the outstanding national reputation of Chef Del Grande and the creative culinary prowess of Berg.

“Cafe Annie is a Houston institution located in a prime Uptown location and I am extremely happy to have an outpost in this thriving part of Houston,” said Berg, owner of Berg Hospitality Group, which includes B&B Butchers & Restaurant in Houston and Fort Worth, B.B. Italia, B.B. Pizza and B.B. Lemon.“Chef Del Grande and I will combine our talents to create a lively dining and social scene.”
