HOUSTON – The Houston office of Cresa, the corporate real estate advisory firm, has relocated its offices to the Post Oak Central development in the Uptown Houston area.

Cresa Houston executed a long-term lease at Three Post Oak Central building, 1990 Post Oak Boulevard, just a few blocks north of The Galleria. Managing Principal, André Granello, negotiated the new lease on behalf of the Cresa.

“The firm is actively hiring, and the investment in our new space and infrastructure was a fundamental step in our ambition to provide our current and future employees with the very best workplace standard in the industry where they can innovate, collaborate and serve our customers to the best of their ability,” says Granello.

Cresa moved its office from 5599 San Felipe to Post Oak Central. Granello says the move stems from the need to accommodate Cresa’s growth in personnel, continued expansion of its service lines, and its need for space that is more reflective of the firm’s professional image and position as a top-tier provider of commercial real estate services in the marketplace.

After evaluating several potential Class A opportunities in central Houston, Cresa decided on Post Oak Central due to it being a prime mixed-use complex that boasts great views of the surrounding area and is centrally located to all the primary commercial markets in Houston, Cresa says.

“The space is highly functional and provides our employees with enhanced tools and resources to better serve our clients in a highly collaborative and modernized environment,” Granello says. “Our technological capabilities are state-of-the-art. We couldn’t be more pleased with our new workplace environment.”

The Post Oak Central complex recently renovated its conference center and commons area. According to property manager, Liz Green, “The state-of-the-art facilities which are centrally located on the first floor of Three Post Oak Central.”

The Post Oak Central complex, which is owned by Atlanta-based Cousins Properties, consists of three, 24-story buildings. The buildings have 23,000 SF floor plates.

Cousins bought the 1.3 million square-foot Post Oak Central in 2013 for $233 million.

About a year ago, Stewart Title, signed a 230,000 square foot lease, extending its lease for its headquarters at Post Oak Central.

In November 2015, Apache Corp. extended its 524,000 square foot lease in Post Oak Central, moving the lease expiration date from December 2018 to December 2019.

Cresa, North America’s largest corporate real estate advisory firm, exclusively represents tenants and specializes in the delivery of fully integrated services.
