Fuzzy’s Tacos Opens Today in Katy

KATY, Texas – (Realty News Report) – Fuzzy’s Taco Shop announced the grand opening of a Fuzzy’s Tacos and Margs restaurant in Katy as the fast casual brand expands in the Houston market.

Located just south of the Katy Freeway at 233 S. Mason Road, Fuzzy’s Tacos and Margs is the third location to open in Greater Houston this year. A Sugar Land outpost opened in June, followed by Kingwood in November.

All three are operated by NGE Group, led by brothers Miro and Andrew Nazarian. The restaurants feature tableside service, menu innovations, and a laid-back vibe. Selections include Texas Brisket Taco, Cali-Style Steak Taco, and Sonora Relleno stuffed poblanos, along with frozen margaritas and cocktails.

“We’re excited to introduce this next-generation Fuzzy’s experience to the Katy community,” said Miro Nazarian, Franchisee. “We’ve seen incredible enthusiasm at our other two Houston locations, and we look forward to welcoming even more guests into the Fuzzy’s community.”

The expansion follows the closure of several Fuzzy’s Taco Shops in recent years including locations in League City, Baytown, and Houston.

Next up, Fuzzy’s Tacos and Margs is planning a location at 7250 Highway 6 North in the Copperfield area, according to filings with the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation. The freestanding building was previously occupied by Fuddruckers.

Boilerplate: Founded in Fort Worth in 2003, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop has 109 restaurants across 15 states. It is franchised by affiliates of Pasadena, Calif.-based Dine Brands Global, which also owns the Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar and IHOP brands.
