AUSTIN – Houston developer Giorgio Borlenghi has opened his second Granduca hotel, in what could become a small chain of high-end hotels.
The new Hotel Granduca Austin is a 194-room property on a hillside near the corner of Bee Caves Road and Loop 360.
In an interview last year, Borlenghi said his goal is to expand the Granduca brand with new hotels across Texas. Borlenghi’s Interfin Cos. developed his first Granduca hotel in Houston’s Galleria area, in addition to a number of office and condo properties.
