Groundbreaking for the Stillwater community north of Houston.

MAGNOLIA, Texas – Gracepoint Homes has broken ground on its newest community, Stillwater, a 188-acre development near Interstate 45 just south of FM 1488 in Conroe.

The community will feature an array of housing choices, with 55-foot, 65-foot and 80-foot properties. There also will be a gated section of 100-foot custom homesites. Gracepoint Homes will be the exclusive builder in the 55-foot, 65-foot and 80-foot sections; custom builders will be announced at a later date. Pricing in the community is expected to start in the mid $400,000s, with presales starting this summer.

When complete, the community will have 381 single-family homes in six sections.

“This range of homesites will appeal to the primary market of this area,” said Tom Cox. Jr., president of Gracepoint Homes. “Historically, the best-selling properties in The Woodlands are 65-foot and 80-foot homesites and 100-foot properties are in high demand in this area.”

Homes will be reminiscent of South Carolina’s distinctive Lowcountry architecture, with expansive columned porches, some of which will be screened.
