HOUSTON — NAI Houston’s Sam Hansen has been selected to lease 2450 and 2500 Fondren Road, a property soon to be branded as Piney Point Offices. The buildings contain 153,000 square feet of office space and are located just north of Westheimer Road on Fondren. With a large vacancy pending, the owner is currently completing the design stage for major capital improvements, including a reconfigured building entrance with a circle drive at 2500 Fondren Road. Landscaping and monument signage will be added in conjunction with the rebranding effort.

HOUSTON — Belfor USA Group, Inc. has leased 15,156 sf at Clay Hempstead Business Park located at 8758 Clay Road, Houston. Jeff Barbles of Moody Rambin Interests represented the building owner, IVEST LP. Jim Autenreith, with Moody Rambin, represented the tenant.
HOUSTON — NAI Houston announced the Brandt Companies has leased a 33,150 sf office/warehouse space at 13810 Hollister St., Suite 100. The tenant was represented by John Ferruzzo, SIOR and Michael Keegan of NAI Houston. Rives Nolen of Insite Realty represented the landlord, Eastgroup Properties.
HOUSTON –Hines announced that Charles N. Hazen, a tenured senior managing director and divisional CEO in the firm’s investment management group, will retire from certain president and CEO positions in March. He will remain with Hines for a year to take part in various matters within the firm. Sherri W. Schugart has been named as Hazen’s replacement, effective March 15. She will assume the president and CEO responsibilities for several investment funds sponsored by Hines. Since joining the firm in 1989, Hazen has managed investment vehicles representing about $12 billion of real estate in eight countries and has been involved in raising more than $6 billion from institutional and retail investors globally. Schugart, a senior managing director, previously served in numerous capacities with Hines during her 17-year tenure.
HOUSTON — Katy Freeway 5400, Ltd. announced the purchase of the T&S Office Building at 5400 and 5414 Katy Freeway in Houston from Positivus, LP. Darin Gosda and Ray Hildebrand from BETZ Commercial Brokerage represented the seller. Drew Morris of Studley represented the buyer. Carolyn Holloway of Charter Title handled closing.
