HOUSTON – HP, the hardware manufacturing company born in 2015 when Hewlett Packard was divided in two, will have 2,400 employees at its new campus in Springwoods Village in north Houston.
The 380,000-SF, two-building campus, will open in late 2018. The $147 million project is being developed by Patrinely Group of Houston, along with USAA Real Estate of San Antonio and CDC Houston.
The HP site is on the west side of Interstate 45, near the 385-acre Exxon Mobil campus and the Patrinely-built headquarters of Southwestern Energy. The property is just north of the Grand Parkway.
In 2002, Hewlett Packard bought Houston-based Compaq Computer, which operated out of a campus in northwest Houston near Highway 248 and Louetta Road.
