HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Land Tejas, a Houston developer, has acquired 1,039 acres west of the Grand Parkway near Clay Road for a master planned community more than 3,000 homes.

The first home sites will be delivered in 2021. CBA Land Capital is an equity partner in the land purchase. The property is north of I-10 in the Katy School District and lies in both Harris and Waller counties.

Founded in 1997, Land Tejas has developed a number of communities in the Houston areas, including active communities  Bridge Creek, Etteridge, Lago Mar, Miramesa, Sierra Vista, Sterling Lakes, Vanbrooke and Wedgewood Forest, and top-sellers Harmony in Spring and Balmoral in Humble.

The name of the  new project has not been announced. Said James Henrie, Chief Operating Officer, for Land Tejas. “We envision this as a premier community mirroring the successful home offerings, amenities and forward-thinking features that are trademarks of a Land Tejas community.”
