HOUSTON – Lee & Associates – Houston will represent Liberty Property Trust on two of its properties located in the North and Northwest Houston regions.

“We look forward to working and building a strong relationship with Liberty Property Trust,” said Ryan Searle, director of Lee & Associates – Houston. “Liberty has a large presence in the Houston market, and carries an outstanding reputation throughout the brokerage community.”

In Houston, Lee will lease Liberty’s 120,000-SF Northgreen Business Park and the 75,000-SF Pinemont Service Center.

Liberty Property Trust is based in Malvern, Pa., near Philadelphia. The REIT owns and operating portfolio of 98.2 million SF of industrial and office space, which is 96.1 percent occupied, throughout the U.S. and the United Kingdom. Liberty’s holdings include 91.7 million SF of industrial and 6.6 million SF of office space.

“The industrial real estate markets continue to provide solid growth opportunities – growth through rent increases and selective development,” Liberty chief executive officer Bill Hankowsky said in a press release Tuesday. “Our first quarter results represent a strong start to the year. Industrial leasing volumes remain high, rent increases continue their strong performance, and development starts are on plan.”
