HOUSTON – Mattress Firm, Inc. is moving its corporate headquarters into a 130,000-square-foot building, just south of the Astrodome and Loop 610.
The bedding company is moving into an area poised for growth because it is close to the Texas Medical Center and other major employment bases.
The Mattress Firm building, 10201 S. Main St., is currently occupied by Stage Stores, which is relocating to the Galleria area.
“The campus also will provide convenient ingress and egress for Mattress Firm employees living across Greater Houston, with direct access to Loop 610, US 59, SH 288 and US 90,” the company said.
“As we looked at the possibility of moving, location, convenience and size were our largest considerations,” said Karrie Forbes, Chief Business Officer for Mattress Firm, who also is leading the relocation efforts. “We wanted to ensure that our new campus would keep us close to the center of Houston, where we were founded nearly 30 years ago, while at the same time providing enough space to support our continued growth.”
