Houston – Capcor Partners and Kaplan Management Co. have announced plans for a mixed-use development on 15 acres in the Washington Avenue/Heights area, just northwest of downtown Houston.
The site, at the corner of Studemont and Interstate 10, was purchased from Grocers Supply, which will relocate within the next two years.
Capcor principal Josh Aruh envisions a combination of multifamily, retail and commercial space. Aruh said he has begun preliminary conversations with several businesses that are striving to be included in the area’s existing commercial success, including grocers, cinemas, restaurants and several big box retailers.
Also involved in the acquisition were Avi Ron, a principal in Capcor, and Mike Kaplan and Geoff Simpson of Kaplan Management.
