Novel Coworking Selects Stream Realty to Lease Historic Building

HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Stream Realty Partners, announced that its Houston office has been selected to lease a downtown building at 405 Main St., also referred to as the Scanlan building, on behalf of Novel Coworking.

Built in 1909, the 11-story building is listed onNational Register of Historic Places. The building, located on the site of the first capitol of the Republic of Texas, sits at the corner of Main and Preston streets. The office building is named after former Houston mayor Thomas Howe Scanlan.

The building has been  modernized and restored, currently offering move-in ready availabilities from 250 to 3,000 square feet. The building also has a 4,000 square foot ground level corner restaurant/entertainment space available with high ceilings, full kitchen, indoor/outdoor serving spaces and second floor outdoor bar space

405 Main sits next to the Harris County Courthouse and is expected to be appealing to attorneys and the legal industry.

Stream’s Asvestas and Adam Ross, Senior Associate, have been selected to lease the property.
