HOUSTON – Lubrizol leased 50,000 SF in the One Briarlake Plaza building at 2000 W Sam Houston Parkway in the Westchase market of west Houston.
Lubrizol signed a lease for the entire third and fourth floors of the 20-story building. The Wickliffe, Ohio-based chemical company, originally leased 38,133 SF in the office building.
JLL Vice President Ryan Barbles represented the tenant. John Pruitt and Jessica Ochoa represented the landlord, TIER REIT.
“The location of One Briarlake Plaza works well with regards to both Lubrizol’s employee base and customers in the oil and gas industry,” said Barbles. “The landlord was accommodating of Lubrizol’s growing needs, allowing the tenant to expand at their current location without interruption to employees or business operations.”
One Briarlake Plaza is a LEED Gold certified office building located in the Westchase submarket, approximately 20 miles from Houston’s Central Business District. Built in 2000, the building’s amenities include a conferencing facility and a fitness center.
