HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – The PBK architecture and engineering firm has expanded and extented of its corporate headquarters facility at 11 Greenway Plaza in Houston’s Inner Loop.
This is the second phase of a 40,000-SF renovation for the firm. Once renovations are complete in October, the new space will include more open work areas and collaboration spaces and less private offices. There will also be an employee lounge and working mothers’ room. The initial phase of the renovations reduced the number of private offices to make room for more workspaces.
The expansion also accommodates two of PBK’s growing companies, LEAF Engineers and BEAM Professionals.
Senterra Real Estate Group’s Neil Tofsky, CEO and Kevin Tofsky, vice president, handled the real estate transaction. Senterra is providing Construction Management services, with Byrd Interior Construction LP as the general contractor on the renovations.
Since moving to Greenway Plaza in 1981, PBK has gone from 400 SF to more than 40,000 SF. Today, PBK has more than 500 employees internationally, with more than half of those in the Houston office.
