HOUSTON – Pelican Builders, a Houston firm led by Robert Bland, plans to build a nine-story condominium project near River Oaks in Houston.

Named The Revere, the boutique condominium will have 33 residences ranging in size from 2,677 to 3,867 SF – and priced between $1.6 and $2.9 million.

The building — “designed with River Oaks empty nesters in mind” – is located just east of Kirby Drive and south of San Felipe, Pelican said. Architecture is by Kirksey.

Pelican Builders has closed the purchase of a half-acre (21,769 SF) at the southeast corner of Revere and Welch Streets for The Revere.

At another project, Pelican reports its The Wilshire condominium has strong sales. Eighty percent of its 96 units are sold. The 17-story Wilshire should be completed this summer.

Over the years, Pelican developed Highland Tower, The Briarglen, 5000 Montrose, Woodway Place II, Woodway Place Atrium, The Greenway I and II, and The Woodway along with a number of gated townhome enclaves.

The Houston market has a number of condo projects under development including The River Oaks, Arabella, Giorgetti, and The Sophie.
