HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – CBRE promoted Wes McBrayer to Texas leader of the CBRE Valuation & Advisory Services Special Use Industrial Valuations team, specializing in the valuation of industrial and special use properties. Prior to his promotion to Practice Leader, he managed the Special Use Industrial Valuations team. Wes has been in the commercial real estate industry for more than 17 years and started at CBRE in 2018.
AUSTIN – Texas Realtors announced that Jef Conn of Coldwell Banker Commercial in Lubbock, has been named the 2024 Chairman of the Board. Conn will lead the more than 150,000-member organization alongside Chairman-Elect Christy Gessler, Secretary/Treasurer Jennifer Wauhob, President and CEO Travis Kessler, and Immediate Past Chairman Marcus Phipps.
HOUSTON – Keith Read has been named development associate at Howard Hughes Holdings. He had been an investment analyst with Northmarq.
DALLAS – Trez Capital has appointed John Creswell as executive managing director, global head of capital raising. Creswell, based in the U.S., will lead the Toronto-based capital raising team. Over his career, he has worked for Duff & Phelps Investment Management Co and BNP Paribas Asset Management, Nuveen and other firms.
DALLAS – STRIVE, a commercial real estate investment sales firm based in Dallas, announced that Stephen Crittenden has joined STRIVE to lead its multifamily group. Stephen has 13 years of experience and has sold several thousand multifamily units in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – JLL announced that Alex Durham has joined the firm’s Charlotte office as Executive Vice President where he will provide strategic tenant representation services to clients. He is relocating from Austin, where he had worked for Stream Realty.
NEW YORK – Lightstone, one of the leading and most diversified privately held real estate companies in the United States, announced that Chris Maciejczak has joined the firm as SVP of Life Sciences. Chris comes to Lightstone after leading the Life Sciences platform at Boston Properties.
MIAMI – JLL Capital Markets announced that Director Nick Lavin has joined its South Florida multi-housing investment sales team in Miami after spending six years in Los Angeles with JLL/HFF.
