Goodwin Advisors is a boutique commercial real estate capital markets firm with offices in Dallas and Houston and Tampa, Fla. Presley brings 25 years of experience in the commercial real estate sector, including previous roles with Lionstone Investments and CBRE. Recently he was a Senior Vice President with CBRE’s Investor Services team, advising institutional office building owners in Houston.
HOUSTON – Lee & Associates – Houston, a nationwide leader in commercial real estate services, announced Katie Smith and Mary Doetterl have joined its growing team. Smith, previously with Stream Realty Partners, will serve as Marketing Manager in the Houston office. Doetterl, previously with Cushman & Wakefield, will be Industrial Research Manager. HOUSTON – Partners Real Estate hired Jonathan Eckerd as Senior Vice President, Investment Sales in its Houston office. Eckerd will focus on sale-leasebacks and net lease investment sales. Before joining Partners, Eckerd was a vice president at Ascension.
HOUSTON – Northmarq announces the promotion of Chad Owens and Warren Hitchcock to senior vice president/managing director in the Houston debt and equity office. Hitchcock and Owens will co-manage the daily operations of the Houston office with managing directors John Burke and Tony Gray.
DALLAS – Kurt Griffin and Nathan Orbin have joined the JLL’s Dallas office as Managing Directors, specializing in landlord and tenant representation. Orbin and Griffin, both are alumni of The University of Texas at Austin, have closed more than 17 million SF in industrial leases in the last three years.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Transwestern Real Estate Services announces Ken Loeber has been named Regional Market Leader for the Carolinas. Loeber joins Transwestern from Eagle Rock Partners, a Charlotte-based real estate firm he founded in 2013.
CHICAGO – JLL’s Valuation Advisory group expanded its industrial property sector team with two key hires. Pauline Hale joins the group as an Executive Vice President based in Southern California and will be the industrial market lead for California. Katelyn Drosnock joins as an Executive Vice President in the Mid-Atlantic region. The duo will report to Managing Director Katie Parsons, who leads the national industrial practice for JLL’s Valuation Advisory group.

HOUSTON – CBRE announced that Kevin Kushner has been promoted to Vice Chairman, the highest title for producers at the company. Kushner joins an elite group of 200 professionals at this level at CBRE. Kushner joined CBRE’s occupier and advisory practice in 2011 after beginning his career as a real estate attorney. During his time with CBRE, he has represented firms in law, energy, engineering, financial services, professional services, and private equity. Said Peter Mainguy, Senior Managing Director & Houston Market Leader at CBRE. “Kevin consistently creates great outcomes and has helped his clients navigate some of the most complex real estate matters.”
HOUSTON – JLL announced that Tyler Garrett has joined the Houston office as Executive Vice President, Managing Director of Agency Leasing, leading JLL’s landlord representation team. Garrett had been Senior Vice President with Transwestern. HOUSTON – Cushman & Wakefield has hired Jennifer Campbell, Joshua Hoffman, and Avery Klatt to join the firm’s Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group. Led by Campbell, the team will be responsible for Class A and B multifamily investment sales throughout the Houston metro area.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – David Jones, communications director and senior editor at the Texas Real Estate Research Center (TRERC) at Texas A&M University, has retired after nearly 50 years of service. Jones graduated from Texas A&M University in 1964 before working as a reporter at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. He joined the TRERC staff in 1975. His credits include creating TG magazine, RECON, and Total RECall.
DALLAS – Greg Katz will lead Stream Realty Partners’ entry into the Miami area market. Joining Katz at Stream South Florida are Carlyle Coffin; Mike Lisch; Jason Warren; and Teresa Sanzone.
