HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Andy Lusk, who was a top executive with Lionstone Investments, has been hired as Chief Investment Officer at The Morgan Group, a Houston-based multifamily firm. Lusk recently served as Chief Investment Officer at Lionstone Investments, a significant Houston real estate firm. During his tenure, Lionstone’s AUM grew from $1.5 billion to $10 billion. Lionstone made headline news last fall when its parent company announced it was shutting down Lionstone’s operations.


HOUSTON – Scott Martin, Granite Prooperties’ longtime Executive Managing Director who led the Houston Granite team for 26 years, has retired. Paul Bennett has been appointed Senior Managing Director and Market Leader of Houston. Paul will continue to serve as Dallas market leader.


FORT WORTH — HPI, a Texas-based full-service real estate firm, announced Colt McCoy, former University of Texas and NFL quarterback, will launch the company’s new Fort Worth office.


WASHINGTON, DC – Mantill Williams, who had been Vice President, Public Relations and Communication Strategy at the National Association of Realtors, has left the organization to pursue other interests.


HOUSTON — Frances Thomson has been named Chief Marketing Officer for the Transwestern organization, leading marketing strategy for its integrated platform spanning real estate services, development, investment management and hospitality.


DALLAS – Newmark has expanded Ran Holman’s role to Southeast Market Leader, overseeing Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, in addition to major Texas markets and other SE states. Holman, based in Dallas, has served as Newmark’s Texas Leader since 2020.


ATLANTA – Tony Wilbert, a regional editor at CoStar News, has been elected 2025 President of the National Association of Real Estate Editors. NAREE is a non-profit journalism organization founded in 1929. NAREE will hold its annual Real Estate Journalism Conference in New Orleans in June.


HOUSTON – Junction Commercial Real Estate announced Clayton Nugent has joined the firm’s land brokerage division. Previously, he was with Dosch Marshall Real Estate.


HOUSTON – Greg Lee, formerly of DuWest Realty, has hired on as a CRE broker for Jolink Wallace Commercial, a firm led by Bruce Wallace and Radkey Jolink.


SAN ANTONIO – Partners Real Estate announced that Tracy Shuey has joined the company as Vice President and Director of Property Management, San Antonio. Said Brad Kovach, Senior Vice President of Property Management at Partners: “Her deep market knowledge and dedication to outstanding client service will be instrumental as we continue to grow in San Antonio.”


HOUSTON — Titan Commercial, a leading full-service commercial real estate firm in Texas, announces the addition of Matt Sanderson as Director, focusing on investment acquisition services and office/industrial leasing. Peyton Easley is Founder and President of Titan.


HOUSTON – MetroNational, a Houston firm that owns Memorial City, announced Frank Ortiz was  promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Scooter Hicks has recently been named president of MetroNational. Jason Johnson remains as CEO of the firm.


AUSTIN – Stream Realty Partners hired Jay Austin as Senior Vice President in its Austin office, where he will focus on occupier representation. He had been with CBRE. Austin is a native Austinite.


CHICAGO – JLL’s Value and Risk Advisory platform has appointed Jim O’Leary, Jon Sestak and Inna Babakulieva to key leadership roles.


SAN FRANCISCO – Cushman & Wakefield announced the firm has the hired brokerage team of Keith Manson, Zachary Greenwood, and Mac Watson to boost its national and regional investor client services in Northern California. They had been with CBRE.


DALLAS – Trammell Crow Company, a global real estate developer, announced the following promotions: Matt Hill of TCC Capital Markets was promoted to Managing Director. Jake Marks was  promoted to Managing Director. Kevin Hickman has been promoted to Principal. Gabe Hungerford of TCC Southern California has been named a Principal. Scott Kirchhoff of TCC Georgia and Josh Udelhofen of TCC Midwest  were named  principals.
