HOUSTON – Patsy Fretwell has been named Research Director at Colliers in Houston. Fretwell has analyzed Houston real estate data for a number of years and was research director at The Horne Company and Grubb & Ellis/ Henry S. Miller in the 1980s. Recently she was a researcher at Avison Young. Previously, Fretwell was with CDS Market Research and the Commercial Gateway at the Houston Association of Realtors.
HOUSTON – CBRE announced that Barrett Von Blon has joined its land team in Houston as First Vice President. Prior to joining CBRE, Barrett was Senior Vice President at JLL specializing in land acquisitions and dispositions for owners, developers and end-users, with particular success in urban retail site acquisition and disposition. “Barrett is a rising star in the Houston area, and we are excited to welcome him to the CBRE team,” said Mark Taylor, Senior Managing Director & Houston Market Leader at CBRE.
DALLAS – Jack Fraker was named Global Head of Industrial and Logistics for the Newmark commercial real estate firm. Fraker, based in Dallas, had been a leader in industrial brokerage at CBRE for a number of years.
HOUSTON – Partners Real Estate has promoted top-performing industrial brokers Zane Carman, and A.J. Williams to partner. Jon Silberman is Managing Partner of Houston-based Partners Real Estate, which has offices in San Antonio, Austin and Dallas.

HOUSTON – ACRP, the Association of Commercial Real Estate Professionals – Gulf Coast Chapter, announced the names of the 12 boxers who will duke it out in the ring at the Bayou City Brawl at the Marriott Marquis in downtown Houston on April 20. All the participants work in the Commercial Real Estate industry in the Houston area. Randy Young of The Texas Overland Company is the event chair for ACRP.
