Aldi, the German-based discount supermarket chain, will open an 18,900 SF store in the Westchase district of Houston, in the Tanglewilde Shopping Center. It replaces a 21,300 SF former ACE Hardware location at 9525 Westheimer Road that closed last year. Kristen Moore, with Brixmor Property Group, said Aldi is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2019.

STA Wealth Management, LLC, has signed an office lease for a 10,092 SF unit at 800 Town & Country Blvd. Kevin Saxe, Ryan Roth and Graham Horton, with CBRE in Houston, were brokers for the tenant. Colvill Office Properties provided brokerage services for the landlord, SCG Citycentre One, LLC.

NAIPartners recently arranged a lease of 3,501 SF of first-generation class A office space for ARI at the Havenwood Office Park in The Woodlands. ARI operates as a distributor of oilfield products. NAI Partners’ Nick Terry represented the tenant in the transaction. Lisa Hughes, with the J. Beard Real Estate Company, represented the landlord.

CBRE Hotels has announced the sale of the 89-room La Quinta Inn & Suites at 1838 Graham Road in College Station, Texas. ALF-TINS, LLC acquired the asset from AMR Hotels, LLC. CBRE’s Michael Yu, Rahul Bijlani, Tyler Bean and Dennis Drake managed the transaction.

Marcus & Millichap announced the sale of West Little York Office Plaza, a 61,500 SF industrial property in Katy, Texas, said Ford Noe, regional manager of the firm’s office in The Woodlands. The sales price was not  disclosed. Nate Newman, vice president of Investments and Logan Kelly, associate in Marcus & Millichap’s The Woodlands office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a local developer.  The buyer, a limited liability company, was secured and represented by Nate Newman.

CBRE has announced the sale of Smith Creek, a 192-unit, Class B, multifamily community in West Dallas. Texas-based Multifamily Property Group purchased the asset for an undisclosed price. Chris Deuillet and Chandler Sims, with CBRE Capital Markets’ Investment Properties in Dallas, represented the seller. The 185,440 SF community was built in 1983 and was 93% occupied at time of sale.

Senior Resource Group, a developer, owner and operator of living communities for elders, has opened a leasing information center at 3220 Feathergrass Court in Austin at the planned Maravilla at the Domain, a residential rental complex for those age 62 and older.  The property is expected to open in mid-2019. The 370,000 SF development will offer 230 residences – a mix of independent living, assisted living and memory care units – as well as an on-site rehabilitation center.
