Real Estate Firm Upsizes Uptown HQ

HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Welcome Group, a Houston-based commercial real estate investor and developer, has relocated and expanded its headquarters to a new office in Uptown Houston to support continued growth.

The move to a modern workspace inside Loop 610 at 515 Post Oak Blvd. reflects the firm’s expansion across Texas and the Southeast in recent years. Previously at 5858 Westheimer, Welcome Group has called Uptown home for nearly 30 years.

Welcome Group, which ventured outside Texas for the first time in 2021, has more than doubled its headcount in recent years. The company owns and manages over 9 million square feet across 115 properties in five states, with additional development projects underway. The portfolio includes manufacturing, laboratory, refrigerated storage, office, medical, warehouse, and distribution properties.

With room for future expansion, the newly designed 18,455-SF office occupies the 12^th floor of 515 Post Oak Blvd. at Briar Hollow Lane. The layout and amenities support productivity and collaboration among teams. The office features enhanced technology and supports hybrid meetings.

Parker Duffie and Joel Douthit of CBRE represented the landlord in the transaction, while Welcome Group represented itself.

Dallas-based EY Ventures acquired 515 Post Oak Blvd. last year. Built in the 1980s, the renovated building offers tenants a fitness center, tenant lounge and game room, onsite café, conference areas, and on-site parking.
