HOUSTON – Craig Young has been named Executive Vice President in CBRE’s Valuation & Advisory Services group in the Houston. Jim Patterson has been named a director in CBRE’s valuation group, which handles business lines including valuation/advisory services for infrastructure projects (pipelines, transmission lines, waterlines, roadways, etc.), financing, litigation support, expert witness testimony, development, acquisitions, dispositions, and ad valorem tax matters.

THE WOODLANDS – Howard Hughes Corp. announced that Jim Carman and Heath Melton have been promoted to continue leading the regional executive team for its master planned communities in the Greater Houston region: The Woodlands, Bridgeland and The Woodlands Hills. Carman was promoted to Senior Vice President, Commercial Development, while Melton was promoted to Senior Vice President, Master Planned Communities (MPC), Residential.

HOUSTON –  CBRE announces that Jon Farris, an industry-leading professional, has joined CBRE as an Executive Vice President. Farris will focus on industrial occupier representation. Farris, formerly of Stream, has completed $2 billion in industrial transactions and is in the NAIOP Hall of Fame. Transaction Specialist Susan Haysom is also joining CBRE as a member of Farris’ team.

HOUSTON – Morgan, a multifamily firm, named David Whitby Vice President of Capital Markets, responsible for working with Morgan’s development partners and senior management team to raise equity capital. Whitby has been with Elite Street Capital and ARA.

HOUSTON – Jodie L. Jiles,  Director of Business Development at Transwestern Commercial Services, has been confirmed to The University of Texas System Board of Regents.

HOUSTON – Rockspring Capital hired Michael Johnston  as Vice President, Duties Sales. He had been with BE&K Building Group.

PHOENIX — Rob Martensen, executive vice president at Colliers International in Arizona was recently elected as the 2020 West Regional Director for SIOR.

TORONTO – Lee & Associates, the largest broker-owned commercial real estate firm in North America, announces the opening of its first office in Ontario, Canada. Lee & Associates Toronto will be headed by Mark Cascagnette, SIOR, and is the firm’s second office in Canada.

CALABASAS, Calif.-  Richard Matricaria and J.D. Parker have been promoted to executive vice presidents of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services.

LOS ANGELES – Christopher Cooper, Avison Young Principal and Managing Director of the company’s Southern California region, announced the hiring of Hayden Eaves in downtown Los Angeles.

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Community Healthcare Trust Inc. announced the appointment of Leigh Ann Stach as Executive Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer.

RICHMOND, Va. — Capital Square 1031, a real estate investment and management firm specializing in Delaware statutory trust (DST) offerings, announced that it promoted 30-year commercial real estate industry veteran, Mike Waddell, to president.
