Travis Rodgers

HOUSTON – NAI Partners has hired Travis L. Rodgers as Executive Vice President. In this newly created position, Rodgers will be working closely with Managing Partner Jon Silberman and will have responsibility for overall executive management of both the operations and revenue management, and growth of the firm. Previously, he was with Whitestone REIT.

HOUSTON – Eric Lestin, a retail leasing expert, has been named managing director at Cushman & Wakefield in Houston. Lestin previously was senior vice president with CBRE and, before that, with NewQuest Properties.

Dave Ramsey

HOUSTON – NewQuest Properties announced a number of promotions. The firm’s newest executive vice president is Dave Ramsey, a 32-year veteran who has handled the sale of 24,000 acres. Promoted to senior vice president from vice president were Bob Conwell, Brad Elmore, Rebecca Le and Brad LyBrand.

The newly named NewQuest vice presidents are Austin Alvis, Ori Batagower, Glenn Dickerson, Josh Friedlander, Jon Jamison, Rachael Keener, John Nguyen, Shireen Owliaand Ashley Strickland. Rising to senior associate from associate are Danny McCormack, J.J. McDermott and Austen Baldridge.

HOUSTON– Weingarten Realty Investors announced today the promotions of William Coats to Regional Vice President / New Development, Alexander Evans to Area Vice President / Leasing and Scott Henson to Regional Vice President / Construction.

HOUSTON –Adam Bray has joined the Houston office of Liberty Property Trust as Associate Director of Leasing, responsible for the company’s 10 million-SF Houston portfolio. Bray transferred from Liberty’s Minnesota office,

HOUSTON – Moody Rambin announced Jim Autenreith and Josh Marcell have been promoted to executive vice presidents.

DALLAS –  Retail capital markets specialist Jim Batjer has left HFF to join CBRE’s National Retail Partners-Southwest. Batjer, who has handled $8.5 billion in sales in his career, will work with CBRE’s Mark Witcher in Houston and Chris Cozby in Dallas.

AUSTIN – Reagan Smith has joined CBRE as a senior vice president in the Austin office to focus on land investment sales in Texas as a part of CBRE Capital Markets. Smith has been a partner at SRI Properties.

PHILADELPHIA – HFF hired Steve Forte as a senior director focused on industrial investment advisory in the firm’s Philadelphia office.  Forte, formerly with Flynn Co., will be a part of HFF’s national industrial investment advisory team led by executive managing director Jody Thornton and senior managing director Rusty Tamlyn.

RALEIGH, N.C. – urban property specialist Marcus Jackson has joined Avison Young in Raleigh-Durham.

NEW YORK-  CompStak, the leader in commercial real estate transaction data and analytics, named Chris Aronson as the company’s first Chief Commercial Officer.

LOS ANGELES – Leah Stearns was named Chief Financial Officer at CBRE Group. She previously was CFO for American Tower REIT.

CHICAGO – Waterton hired Matt Mering as executive vice president of hospitality to develop and execute a hotel investment strategy.
