PASADENA, Texas- (RNR Real Estate Briefs from Realty News Report) – Colliers International announces that Dunavant Distribution Group is expanding into a 784,000 SF industrial building in Bay Area Business Park, 10629 Red Bluff Road in Pasadena, Texas. The additional space brings Dunavant’s presence to more than one million SF within that business center. John Nicholson of Colliers International represented the tenant. The landlord, PEPF Red Bluff, was represented by Justin Robinson and Jeff Pate of Stream Realty.

HOUSTON — Transwestern Real Estate Services announces it has been engaged by Capital Commercial Investments Inc. to provide leasing and management services for a five-story, 351,030 SF building at 6500 W. Loop S. in Houston, four miles from the Texas Medical Center. Transwestern’s Doug Little, Justin Brasell and Ashley Cassel will represent the building owner in leasing efforts.

HOUSTON — Lee & Associates – Houston represented Lessing Properties, LLC, in the sale of a 6,000 SF industrial property at 22315 Gosling Road in Spring, Texas.  Mike Spears  and Justin Cole of Lee & Associates – Houston represented the seller and Recy Dun with Keller Williams Realty Professionals represented the buyer, Sneed Investments, LLC.

Lee & Associates — Houston represented Movenation Dance Academy, LLC, in the lease of a 3,500 SF office space at 31720 Townhurst Drive in Houston. Sandy Aronds of Lee & Associates – Houston represented the tenant and Donald Fincher with Tru Core Commercial represented the landlord, Eastern CCTV USA, LLC.

 HOUSTON – Savills  has completed a lease extension on behalf of Étoile Academy, a tuition-free public charter school. Étoile will expand at 6648 Hornwood Drive in Southwest Houston, bringing its total space to 33,700 SF. Savills Corporate Managing Director Lesa Nickelson French represented Étoile in lease negotiations and she secured the original 13,750 SF lease on Hornwood Drive with landlord Ardenwood Group. Étoile Academy Charter School was founded in 2018 by Kayleigh Colombero.

HOUSTON — A Houston-based joint venture comprising partners Matthew Morgan, Kevin Kirton and Carlos Enrique Gonzalez of Buckhead Investment Partners and Zane Segal of Zane Segal Projects announces it is building Arista Riverstone, a 142-unit, active adult apartment community at 18401 University Blvd. in Riverstone, an upscale master-planned community near Sugar Land, Texas.

HOUSTON – JLL Capital Markets announces it has closed the sale of the 396-unit Sharpstown Garden Apartments workforce housing property at 7575 Bissonnet St. in Southwest Houston. JLL represented the seller, Pryzant Management, to complete the sale to Indus Management. Managing Director of Indus Communities, Manu Gupta, M.D., led the purchase of Sharpstown Garden. The JLL Capital Markets team representing the seller was led by Chris Young and Joey Rippel.

HOUSTON – California-based NUTRISHOP has unveiled its first central Houston location at 2857 Katy Freeway, Suite 118, in Lower Heights, a new, 24-acre mixed-use district developed by  Gulf Coast Commercial Group  just west of downtown. Fuller Contractors served as the GC and Mirador Group was the architect.

KATY — Trendmaker Homes & Development, a TRI Pointe company, announces that construction is underway on Haven at Seven Lakes, a 129-home for-sale residential community in Katy, Texas. When completed in first quarter 2021, the gated lifestyle development will offer innovative homes, including brand-new product offerings, in a prime infill location with convenient access to major transportation, employment corridors and top-ranked schools in the Katy Independent School District.

THE WOODLANDS, Texas —Jeff Tinsley of The J. Beard Real Estate Company represented Donna’s Home Furnishings in a lease at Wood Ridge Plaza at 27702 Interstate 45 North in The Woodlands. The tenant will occupy about 6,213 SF. This is Donna’s second location.  Katherine Wildman of Wulfe & Co.represented the landlord.

HOUSTON — Jason Gibbons with Finial Group secured a lease at 14505 Torrey Chase Blvd. in Houston on behalf of the landlord. The tenant, Gissel Skin Care, signed a long-term lease in the Torrey Chase office building.

HOUSTON – Chica’s Boutique has leased 1,050 SF in the Hollister Pointe Shopping Center at 13147 Northwest Freeway in Houston. The boutique is a family-owned and operated clothing store that sells various items such as shapewear, makeup, clothing, accessories and shoes. The landlord was represented by Wes Miller of Wulfe & Co.

 HOUSTON — Doc Perrier with Finial Group represented S&J Electric, LLC, as the tenant in the lease of 10060 West Road, an industrial building in Northwest Houston.


DALLAS – Allianz Real Estate has agreed to acquire a 49% interest in a logistics portfolio to establish a joint venture partnership with  Crow Holdings. Through the long-term endeavor, Allianz and Crow will own and complete development of the 6.1 million SF build-to-core portfolio consisting of 19 newly constructed industrial assets, anchored by a logistics park located between Dallas and Fort Worth. The rest of the portfolio is concentrated at sites in Chicago, Dallas, Houston and Southern California. Five of the 19 assets are in different stages of development.

SAN MARCOS– NAI Partners  recently arranged the sale of 1820 Redwood Road, a 5,000 SF property on one acre of land in San Marcos, Texas. NAI Partners’ Colten Courtney represented the seller.

SAN ANTONIO — Transwestern Real Estate Services announces that Keller Williams City View, a franchise of Keller Williams Realty   International, has signed a full-building lease for 30,000 SF at The Park at Vance Jackson. The property, located at 15510 Vance Jackson Road in San Antonio, was delivered in February 2020. Transwestern’s Russell T. Noll and Deborah Bauer of Drake Commercial provided agency leasing services on behalf of the landlord, The Park on Vance Jackson, LLC. Cynthia Lee of KW Commercial City View represented the tenant.

DALLAS – Younger Partners is exclusively listing the five-building 449,000 SF headquarters for Thryv Holdings at 2200 W. Airfield Drive at D/FW Airport. It is the largest sublease available  in Dallas/Fort Worth.  Younger Partners’ Bob Acuff is exclusively listing the property for Thryv Holdings with Tanja McAleavey.

SAN ANTONIO — NAI Partners San Antonio’s Jorge Martinez represented San Antonio Counseling & Behavioral Center in a lease extension for 1,082 SF at 4242 Medical Drive. Andrew Price of CBRE represented the landlord.

NAI Partners San Antonio’s Jorge Martinez and Clare Flesher represented Public Alliance, LLC, in a 2,465 SF lease extension and expansion at 909 NE Loop 410. JLL’s Meredith Howard  represented the landlord.


LONDON – A joint venture (JV) involving a fund managed by Credit Suisse Asset Management Global Real Estate, industrial developer and asset manager Chancerygate and the international real estate firm Hines has acquired a six-acre site in Dagenham, East London. The JV intends to create a new speculative, 165,000 SF industrial development on the site with a gross value of more than $59 million. Plans will be submitted to deliver up to 20 units ranging from 3,000 SF to 33,000 SF for warehousing and trade counter use. Units will be available freehold or leasehold. CBRE advised the JV on the site’s acquisition while Colliers acted on behalf of Rexel.
