HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Wan Bridge, a Texas-based builder and operator of build-to rent (BTR) communities, has opened Pradera Oaks in Rosharon south of Houston.
The 800-home, upscale rental community features three- and four-bedroom, two-story detached single-family homes for lease ranging from 1,700 to 1,800 SF.
Wan Bridge started the land development in 2019 and vertical construction began earlier this year.
The BTR company, led by CEO Ting Qiao, will deliver the first 30 rental homes this month. Seven homes are already leased with tenants living there.
Wan Bridge expects to deliver 300 of the rental homes every year in the next three years.
At build-out, several years from now, the Pradera Oaks community will be made up of 812 single-family rental homes.
With work-from-home becoming normalized, suburban living has gained momentum. There’s also job and population increases, as well as a shortage of housing inventory in Lake Jackson and Freeport – established cities south of Houston – and the Pradera Oaks’ location could attract renters from those cities.
Houston-based Wan Bridge have been moving its BTR development into North Texas, The Residences at Rayzor Ranch, which celebrated its grand opening at the end of April.
