CYPRESS, Texas – Smithco Development and Mischer Investments have joined forces to develop Cypress Creek Plaza, an HEB grocery anchored center on a 10-acre tract on the northwest side of Houston.

The 51,000 SF center, slated to be complete in the summer of 2016, will have three pad sites facing Fry Road, near Tuckerton Road.

The center will service growing residential communities of Cypress Creek Lakes, Towne Lake, Bridgeland, Canyon Lakes, and Black Horse Ranch. It is about 10 miles north of Interstate 10 and three miles south of Highway 290.

Over 70 percent of the center is pre-leased to tenants that will offer consumers a wide variety of services; including restaurants, veterinary and pet supplies, medical, optical, dry cleaners, postal services, hair and nail salons as well as several national retailers. Identity Architects designed the center

Smithco Development is a family owned commercial real estate development company founded in 1964. The company has developed and acquired more than two million square feet of retail and office properties in the greater Houston area. Some of the shopping centers include; The Center at Bunker Hill, Echo Lane Shopping Center, and Champions Forest Plaza.
