Avera is tilting up walls at its 644,000-SF Cedar Port Logistics project in Baytown.

BAYTOWN, Texas – (Realty News Report) – Avera is proceeding with construction of Cedar Port Logistics, a 644,000-SF industrial project in Cedar Port Industrial Park which is the largest master-planned rail and barge-served industrial park in the United States.

Avera is tilting up concrete wall panels at the building, which is situated on 40.8 acres within the 15,000-acre Cedar Port Industrial Park. The project is expandable to 760,400 SF cross dock, with available rail service.

The building includes the option for rail service, available from both Union Pacific and BNSF. Completion on the building is scheduled for the second quarter of  2020.

Leasing is being handled by Gray Gilbert, Holden Rushing, and Chris Haro with NAI Partners.

Cedar Port Logistics is strategically located on SH 99 (Grand Parkway), near FM 1405, SH 225, SH 146, and Interstate 10.

Port Houston, Bayport Container Terminal, and Barbours Cut Container Terminal are located in close proximity to the site. The industrial park is barge-served.

Avera is a fully integrated, partnership-driven development, construction and investment firm based in Houston.

Cedar Port Logistics is accretive to other Avera developments in the Baytown area – most recently, a build-to-suit project for Vinmar International, totaling over 500,000 SF.
