HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Wood Partners has broken ground on the 204-unit Alta Washington Avenue, a multifamily project near Houston’s Memorial Park in the Inner Loop.
The 7-story community, 6400-01 Washington Avenue, will be located just south of Interstate 10.
Scheduled to open in the Winter of 2020, Alta Washington Avenue will feature 1- and 2-bedroom floor plans, as well as 3-story townhouse units.
The multifamily property is within walking distance of the clubhouse of the Memorial Park Golf Course, which is undergoing a massive renovation in excess of $13 million with funding by Houston Astros owner Jim Crane. The Houston Open Golf Tournament, a major pro event, will be played there in 2020.
