HOUSTON – Hines, the Houston-based international real estate firm, and its joint venture partners Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. and Pinto Real Estate Development have announcedthat tiltwall panels are raised on a 840,000-sf, multi-building logistics development within Pinto Business Park in north Houston. The project will consist of one 600,000-sf, cross-dock distribution facility and two 120,000-sf, rear-load distribution buildings.
HD Supply Facilities Maintenance signed a 500,000-sf lease within the cross-dock building. The remaining 100,000 square feet in the cross-dock distribution building, and 240,000 sf of rear-load space is currently available for lease. In Pinto Business Park, located at the southwest corner of Interstate 45 and Beltway 8.
HD Supply Facilities Maintenance was represented in lease negotiations by Jim Foreman and Beau Kaleel of Cushman & Wakefield. John Simons and Holden Rushing of Studley represented Hines, the building developer, owner and manager.
Another firm, the Fort Worth-based Reynolds Co. electrical supply just purchased nine acres in the Pinto business park. Reynolds will construct a 130,000-sf distribution building, scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2014.
The Pinto Business Park has more than 900 acres in the Bush Airport area.
