HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Century Communities announced the opening of Mirabella, a community designed for nearly 1,200 homes in Brookshire that will introduce redesigned homes for modern living.
Century Communities, a Colorado-based developer and builder operating in 35 communities across the Houston region, will unveil new architecture along with professionally curated finish packages at Mirabella. The 318-acre community offers houses in the low $200,000s.
Located off FM 529 near FM 362, about 43 miles west of downtown Houston, Mirabella features an Italian-inspired setting with lakes, waterways, and walking trails throughout the community. Amenities include a community pool, pickleball, sports courts, dog parks, and fishing areas.
Century Communities will offer 18 floor plans across two collections ranging from 1,388 to 2,657 square feet. Designed to meet current buyer preferences, the one- and two-story homes will feature open-concept layouts with gathering spaces in the kitchens and dining areas.
Students will attend new schools in the Royal Independent School District.

Mirabella is opening as new homes have slowed and more properties are on the market in Houston and other Texas markets. New home sales across Texas decreased to 6,080 in July, a decline of 2.3% compared July 2025, according to the HomeUSA.com New Home Sales Index.
Century Communities, which is led locally by Houston Division President Tanya Rizzo, builds in Mirabella, Sunterra Lakes, Laurel Farms, Katy Reserve, Fulshear Junction, and Fulshear Lakes in West Houston.
Century Communities operates in 16 states and more than 45 markets across the U.S. The company is on track to build 9,750 to 10,500 homes this year.
