HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – The Houston District Council of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) has appointed Cortney Cole  as the incoming Houston District Council Chair.  Ms. Cole will serve a two-year term as the chair for ULI’s local council, and succeeds Abbey Roberson,  Vice President of Planning for TMC. Cole is a Managing Director in the Houston office of JLL Capital Markets with 23 years of experience in commercial real estate finance.


Larry Koestler

NAI Partners  has promoted its head of marketing, Larry Koestler,  to Senior Vice President of Marketing & Communications.Koestler’s expanded responsibilities now include management and oversight of the company’s more than one dozen Client Services Coordinators and Account Managers, in addition to his day-to-day supervision of the entirety of the firm’s marketing and media relations efforts across the firm’s three markets in Houston, Austin and San Antonio.


Colliers International  appointed Jonathan Horowitz to its Houston retail advisors team as senior vice president. He previously held the chief brand officer position, at Lasco Enterprises.


Stewart Information Services Corporation announced that Tony Sandoval  was promoted to Senior Division President overseeing Direct Operations in the Austin and San Antonio markets.


Anthony Trollope  joined Hartman Income REIT  as Director of Interactive MarketingPrior to joining Hartman, he was the Director of Digital Marketing and part of the senior leadership team at AMID, Inc.


JLL hired Lonna Jenks  for the Houston Tenant Representation team as Vice President. Jenks received her Master of Real Estate and Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness from Texas A&M University.


Cristina Vetrano was named CEO of the Ronald McDonald House Houston,  which assists families with seriously ill children at the Texas Medical Center.


Neha Desai joined Hines to assist in asset management in New York.


Walker & Dunlop, Inc.  hired Jared Sobel  as Managing Director in its New York office.  Sobel will play a leading role in the growth of the company’s multifamily small loans group, which provides sustainable and affordable financing solutions for smaller apartment properties.
