HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Transwestern Real Estate Services has been engaged by Sidra Real Estate to provide office leasing services for two buildings in Houston’s Riverway submarket.
The buildings, just west of Loop 610, are 2 Riverway, a 369,479-SF office building, and a 122,899-SF office building at 4900 Woodway.
The Transwestern office leasing team of Senior Vice President Louann Pereira, Senior Managing Director Doug Little, and Senior Associate Matthew Seliger will represent the building owner.
“Each property holds a unique place in the Riverway West Loop submarket, and we look forward to maximizing the long-term value of the properties,” said Pereira.
The 2 Riverway, a 17-story tower located on the southeast corner of South Post Oak Lane and Woodway Drive opened in 1980. The recent renovation of the building was designed by Ziegler Cooper Architects. About two years ago, Comerica Bank leased 35,000 SF in the building.
The nearby 12-story building at 4900 Woodway is situated on 1.3 acres about five miles west of downtown Houston. At one time, the 4900 Woodway was owned by a group that included Houston’s Fidelis Realty, which sold it in 2012.
