HOUSTON – MOD Pizza has leased five retail locations in Houston and it plans to open 30 locations in Texas within the next four to five years, according to the Transwestern real estate firm.
Transwestern’s Grant Walker, vice president, and Chris Reyes, broker associate, who serve as exclusive advisors for MOD Pizza in the Houston market, represented the retailer in leasing five locations.
Bellevue, Wash.-based MOD Pizza plans to expand to 100 stores in the United States by the end of 2015.
“MOD Pizza’s expansion has been driven by its national corporate growth plan as well as a very positive reception to its build your own, individual artisan-style pizzas and hand-tossed salads,” said Reyes. “The company plans to grow the business in markets across the country, with Houston serving as one of the largest footprints.”
MOD Pizza’s newest Houston locations include: 3,175 square feet at 19820 Southwest Freeway in Sugar Land; 2,797 square feet at 5777 San Felipe St.in Houston; 2,744 square feet at 2682 Pearland Parkway in Pearland; 2,446 square feet at 10123 Louetta Road in Houston and 2,500 square feet at 14555 Memorial Drive in Houston.
