HOUSTON – Linbeck Group, a Texas-based construction firm, is building phase one of an academic complex at Texas A&M University at Galveston. With a $37.5-million price tag, the first phase is scheduled to start in November and is expected to be completed in 396 days.
The four-story, 86,000-sf building will be located at the main entrance of Texas A&M University at Galveston, 200 Seawolf Parkway.
Consultants include Houston-based architectural firm PGAL; Shah Smith & Associates; 4b Technology Group; structural engineers Henderson+Rogers Inc.; RFD; and landscape designer Wong & Associates.
Texas A&M University at Galveston is the maritime and marine campus of Texas A&M.
