SAN ANTONIO – (Realty News Report) – Weingarten Realty Investors of Houston has broken ground on a 25-acre retail development in Stevens Ranch, a 2,400-acre master-planned community in west San Antonio.
The Weingarten project is located at the corner of Potranco Road and Stevens Parkway.
The development will have a 20,000-SF center, expected to be completed later this year, was designed by Luna Middleman Architects of San Antonio. The projects will have a number of pad sites and other development.
Stevens Ranch will have 538 acres of commercial and 4,300 residential lots at build-out.
Weingarten, a REIT traded on the New York Stock Exchange, has ownership interests in 204 properties totaling 41.3 million SF at year-end 2017.
