HOUSTON – CBRE Group, Inc. has announced that Cody Armbrister has been appointed to lead the Houston market as Senior Managing Director.  In this role, Armbrister will oversee the firm’s Houston operations, which encompass two offices and more than 600 employees.  His responsibilities will include overseeing all lines of business including Brokerage, Capital Markets, Property and Facilities Management, Valuation, and Project Management.

Armbrister was most recently an Executive Vice President with CBRE, specializing in office agency leasing.  In this role, he has worked with many of the market’s top institutional and private investor clients, as well as with many developers on some of Houston’s most high profile office projects. He has consistently been a top performer for CBRE in the Houston market and in 2014, he was a top 250 producer in the Americas.  Over his career, he has completed more than 625 office leases totaling more than $2.75 billion.

“Cody is a highly capable leader who has a deep understanding of our company and the needs of our clients in the Houston market,” said Michael Caffey, Executive Managing Director for CBRE’s Texas Region. “As he transitions from a producer role to one in leadership, his collaborative nature and ability to bring the right experts together will serve our professionals and clients well.”

In his new role, Armbrister will work closely with Mark Taylor who will continue to lead Investor Services for the Houston market.
