CustomSpace will operate in this building at 5301 Polk in Houston.

HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – CustomSpace, the industrial market’s equivalent to co-working space in the office market, leased 113,152 SF at 5301 Polk Street in Houston.

Barkley Peschel and Mike Davis of Colliers International and Trey Erwin of Lee & Associates represented the tenant in the transaction.

CustomSpace offers spaces ranging from 250 SF to 10,000 SF to companies needing storage, or places for light assembly with amenities including forklifts.

This will be the eighth location for CustomSpace and first property in Texas.

CustomSpace, the industrial market’s equivalent to a co-working space, provides full-service warehousing, storage, and office space to businesses and individuals. The company’s mission is to give businesses the ability to operate on a small scale but to compete on a large one. The amenities and services – from forklifts to package handling – give customers the benefits of a large-scale warehouse. The flexible leases, fast move-in, and custom unit sizes allow businesses the ultimate flexibility. They serve a wide variety of customers – from bike assemblers to non-profits, import/export companies to furniture rental businesses.
