THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Colliers International reports the office market in The Woodlands “performed exceptionally well” in the fourth quarter of 2018, posting 385,000 SF of positive absorption. It was the best quarter for the submarket since 2015.
The Woodlands has 127 office buildings with 17.2 million SF and a direct vacancy rate of 10.1 percent. It has less than 100,000 SF of available sublease space (Class A).
The Howard Hughes Corp. reported strong leasing of 141,000 SF in the former CB&I buildings. And HP occupied 378,000 SF in Springwoods Village.
