Rendering of new section of Bridgeland in northwest Houston.

CYPRESS, Texas – Howard Hughes Corp. is preparing to open Parkland Village, a new village in its Bridgeland, an 11,400-acre master planned community in northwest Houston.

Homebuilders announced for Parkland Village include Beazer Homes, Chesmar Homes, Coventry Homes, Darling Homes, Highland Homes, Lennar, M/I Homes, Newmark Homes, Perry Homes, Ravenna Homes,  Taylor Morrison, Trendmaker Homes, Village Builders and Westin Homes.

All neighborhoods within Parkland Village will be named after Texas State Parks. In addition, the street names and points of interest will represent historical state facts, landmarks, flora and fauna for the respective parks.

Serving as a transitional space between Lakeland Village and the new Parkland Village will be Bridgeland’s latest amenity, Josey Lake. Designed as a recreational hub for the two villages, the 140-acre lake system, with grassy meadow-like plantings forming its perimeter, will include a kayak pavilion, main pavilion, event lawn and observational birding tower.
