HOUSTON – Store Capital, a Phoenix-based REIT that specializes in sale-leasebacks, has acquired an 11-building portfolio of Texas and Florida real estate.
The seller, CBS Rental & Supply, is one of the largest providers of construction equipment and construction rental supply in the Gulf Coast.
CBS Rental & Supply, which will continue to occupy the buildings, was represented by the Finial Group, a Houston-based commercial real estate firm. The CBS portfolio includes 11 buildings, with 212,451-SF of space on 34.2 acres.
Berkshire Hathaway, a holding company led by billionaire Warren Buffett, owns a large stake in Store Capital.
