GALVESTON, Texas – (Realty News Report) –- Tiara on the Beach, a 10-story condominium project under construction in Galveston, is slated to open in the summer of 2027.
“Tiara on the Beach’s construction milestone marks a pivotal moment in the development of Galveston’s first new condominium project in 15 years,” said Tiara’s owner and developer Sunny Bathija, CEO of Satya.
The 10-story mid-rise condominium, with a limited collection of 63 residences, is located on Galveston’s West End at 10525 San Luis Pass Road. Construction began in 2024.
The condominium has been designed to withstand 150 mph winds, equivalent to a Category Four hurricane.
Located on a 2.9-acre parcel at the end of Seawall Blvd., the 175,000-SF development has private access to 300 linear feet of beachfront.
Prices begin at $1.5 million. Each residence will have a private balcony, some as large as 14 feet deep and 40 feet wide.
Tiara on the Beach offers one, two, and three-bedrooms as well as seven penthouses and two penterras (large condo homes on the first floor.)
The units have 10 to 11-foot ceilings and flexible floorplans ranging from 1,661 SF to 4,306 SF.
The common areas and elevators, refrigerators and one outlet in every residence will be connected to an emergency generator.
“An iconic crown will adorn the top of the condominium, thus, the name, Tiara on the Beach,” said Steven Biegel, Director of Architecture of Place Designers.
Tiara on the Beach’s development team includes Place Designers, Inc, design architect and interior designer; and Ludlow & Associates, general contractor. International Bank of Commerce (IBC) is providing financing; and Nan Properties Developer Services is handling sales.
In Houston, Satya is developing the St. Regis Residences, a high-rise condo off of Memorial Drive, west of downtown.
“Years ago, when looking to purchase a waterfront condominium in Galveston, I could not find one that I wished to own, so I bought in Florida,” said Bathija. “Now, my goal is to bring two world-class condominium projects to the region, The St. Regis Residences, Houston and Tiara on the Beach in Galveston.”
Boilerplate: Satya, based in Houston, has developed high-rise condominiums, apartments, hotels, mixed-use properties, retail and commercial centers. Its developments include The Sophie at Bayou Bend, Giorgetti Houston, Westmore, Hyatt Place and Hyatt House Houston Medical Center.
