WEBSTER, Texas – (Realty News Report) – MaSTherCell U.S. LLC, a global medical manufacturing and biotechnology firm, has leased 32,000-SF in the Webster community on the southeast side of Houston.
The leased represents MaSTherCell Global is expansion into the United States. The firm has facilities near Brussels, in Israel, and in Asia.
Its Houston-area facility will be located at 253 Medical Center Blvd. in the Clear Lake area, near Highway 3 between Bay Area Boulevard and NASA Parkway. Several Clear Lake hospitals and medical facilities are located in the area.
Brandy Bellow Spinks with CBRE Houston represented the landlord, Virtus Real Estate Capital.
Transwestern’s Robby Winston represented the tenant, a leading cell and gene therapy firm.
MaSTherCell, (Manufacturing Synergies for Therapeutic Cells) was founded in 2011 as a cell therapy organization. It is described as a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization.
Last year, a Swiss firm, Lonza Viral Therapy opened a 276,770- square-foot cell and gene manufacturing facility at 14905 Kirby Drive in Pearland.
