HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Three retail outlets, Fusion Eats, Green Lane Co., and the Michael Saldana Salon have leased space at Greenway Plaza in the Inner Loop of Houston.
Greenway Plaza is a 52-acre development with 11 office buildings totaling 4.9 million SF and other development near the Southwest Freeway and Buffalo Speedway. The Canada Pension Plan Investment Board acquired control of Greenway Plaza last year when it acquired Parkway Inc. for $1.2 billion last October.
“Through the execution of these three retail leases, Parkway continues to carefully craft and curate a dynamic environment that we believe companies will increasingly demand in order to create an optimal work environment for their employees,” stated Mike Fransen, COO of Parkway. “We believe that the addition of these retail tenants at Greenway Plaza will benefit both our tenants at Greenway and the surrounding community as well.”
Tom Havron of Newmark Knight Frank, represented Parkway in all three of the retail transactions, which totaled 4,700 SF and will open in early 2018.
Fusion Eats is a spin-off of Fusion Taco, which is located in the Heights and owned by Julia Sharaby. Green Lane Co.’s Greenway location will be the fourth for owners Joey and Luchi Figueroa.
