HOUSTON – Woodbine Development Corp. and InterMountain Management have opened the 128-room Residence Inn by Marriott Springwoods Village adjacent to the new 3 million-SF Exxon Mobil campus north of Houston.
It is the first of four possible hotels slated for the 1,800-acre Springwoods Village, a $10 billion project being developed by CDC Houston, a subsidiary of Coventry Development of New York.
A Courtyard by Marriott is under construction in Springwoods Village, located on the west side of Interstate 45 near the route of the future Grand Parkway.
Situated on Holzwarth Road, Residence Inn is managed by InterMountain Management and will serve the ExxonMobil campus, Southwestern Energy headquarters, CHI St. Luke’s Medical Campus and other employers in the area. Dallas-based Woodbine, known for its extensive hospitality and mixed-use projects, also plans to develop a full-service hotel in Springwoods Village’s CityPlace.
