HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – An industrial building is under construction in Generation Park, a 4,000-acre master planned development along Beltway 8 in northeast Houston, according to McCord Development.
The 124,800-SF building is 60% leased, with 49,920 SF available for lease. The project, called Lockwood Business Park is located at 13300 Lockwood Road, is the first for-lease industrial project at Generation Park.
“The facilities at Lockwood Business Park offer tenants the space and facilities to streamline and consolidate daily operations,” said Ryan McCord, president of Houston-based McCord Development.
Lockwood Business Park’s first industrial building is home to GHX Industrial’s headquarters and industrial facility, spanning ten acres in the business park, opposite of TechnipFMC’s 173-acre campus. GHX, a national value-added distributor and fabricator of industrial gaskets and hoses, consolidated four Houston area facilities and their headquarters at the new industrial park.
Method Architecture is the architect, Burton Construction is the contractor, and financing is provided by Woodforest National Bank.
