HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Primark, an international fashion retailer with 480 stores worldwide, will open its second store in the Houston area on July 16.
With 30,000 square feet of selling space, the new Willowbrook Mall store in northwest Houston will be the chain’s seventh in Texas following its recent opening in The Parks Mall at Arlington. Willowbrook Mall is located at State Highway 249 at FM 1960. The store will occupy a portion of the former Sears space.
Opening in time for back-to-school and summer vacation shopping, Primark offers trendy clothing and everyday essentials at affordable prices. Women’s denim starts at $12, while tees and sweatshirts start at $5 to $8.
Next, the company will enter Indiana with a new store at Castleton Square Mall in Indianapolis on July 23, bringing Primark to 44 locations across the U.S.
“Our continued US ambition is something we’re really proud of. I’m as excited about expanding Primark’s presence in the Lone Star State as I am at our entry into Indy,” said Kevin Tulip, President of Primark US. “We know that Primark’s offering of quality fashion at exceptional value is more important than ever to today’s consumers, and we’re looking forward to opening our doors and welcoming customers in Houston and Indianapolis.”
Primark entered Houston last year at Katy Mills Mall and is now hiring to fill positions at the new stores. Visit https://careers.primark.com/en/in-store for information.
Founded in Ireland in 1969, Primark employs more than 80,000 people worldwide.
