Law Firm Opens Office in East River

HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – U.S. LawShield has signed a full-floor lease in East River, Midway’s growing mixed-use district near downtown Houston.

The law firm, a membership-based provider of legal defense services nationwide, has leased 16,071 SF at 2920 Riverby Road. The company will occupy the entire fifth floor of Building C.

“We are pleased to welcome U.S. LawShield to East River as momentum continues to build across our first phase,” said David Hightower, Executive Vice President, Investment and Development at Midway. “Companies are drawn to East River because it offers a dynamic, mixed-use setting that supports collaboration, well-being, and a true sense of place for employees and visitors.”

East River, situated on 150 acres on the former Brown & Root Campus near Clinton Drive and Jensen Drive, has a mile of frontage along Buffalo Bayou with modern office, living, and entertainment spaces. The 26-acre first phase contains 300,000 SF of office, 100,000 SF of retail, and The Laura, a five-story project with 360 apartments.
