HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Jon Farris has been named vice chairman at Stream Realty Partners. Farris, formerly of CBRE, has represented tenants, buyers and sellers in the Houston industrial market for a number of years. He was named Industrial Broker of the Year by NAIOP of several occasions,
HOUSTON – Carter Bechtol has been named as Partner and Head of Triten Residential, which is part of Triten Real Estate Partners. Bechtol had been Managing Principal with Stanmore Partners, a multifamily development firm active in Texas and Florida. At Triten, Bechtol will oversee all of Triten’s multifamily holdings including sourcing developments and acquisitions, conceptual planning, and engaging with investors and lenders.
DALLAS – Partners Real Estate announced the expansion of its Valuation Advisory services into Dallas with the addition of 30-year commercial real estate appraisal veteran Kyle Knox as Managing Director, and Clint Gandy as Senior Vice President. The addition of this duo marks a significant expansion of Partners’ banking appraisal business.
DALLAS and FORT WORTH – JLL has added personnel to its North Texas offices. Jayme Schutt will be a Senior Vice President of Workplace Strategy in the Dallas office, returning to JLL from her previous role at Stream Realty Partners. Coming from JLL in London, Maggie Georgieva will be staying with the firm as a Senior General Manager in the company’s Fort Worth office. Mike Allen, a former Assistant Vice President with Weitzman, will be a part of the retail team as a Vice President in JLL’s Dallas office.
SAN ANTONIO – Meredith Muecke Howard has joined Cushman & Wakefield in San Antonio as a Director. With 14 years of experience across various facets of real estate – including marketing, business development, project development services and industrial leasing – Howard will handle both office agency leasing and tenant representation.
SAN ANTONIO and CHICAGO – Linda Bursic has joined Affinius Capital as Managing Director in the firm’s Global Investors Group, where she will be responsible for capital raising activities throughout North America. Bursic recently worked as Managing Director, Real Estate Capital Advisory at Evercore. Affinius Capital was previously known as USAA Real Estate and Square Mile Capital Management.
HOUSTON – Expanding its appraisal services, Newmark hired Houston-based Executive Vice President Victor Thomas and his team, including First Vice President Scott Bates and Valuation Associates Kyle Thomas and Ashlee Kilcullen. Prior to joining Newmark, Thomas was President at Multifamily Appraisal Specialists. In Irvine, Calif. Newmark hired two multifamily appraisal specialists. Jeff Taylor and Jeff Groff. In Atlanta, Newmark added Tim Warner. Chrissy Keith, MAI, was hired as a Newmark Senior Vice President.
AUSTIN – Outpost, a leading network of managed semi-truck parking and fleet yard facilities, announced that Josh Neill has joined the company as President and Chief Investment Officer. Neill most recently serving as Managing Director at Keystone National Group. Outpost, which has 20 locations and 10,000 parking spaces, is expanding in all major metropolitan areas.
